FLAT PANEL SIGNS

Straightforward flat, smooth, panels which can be screwed to walls or fences or fixed to posts or railings. These are usually made of an aluminium composite material which is robust, lightweight & long lasting. They come in several colours although the vast majority of orders, unsurprisingly, are white. Typically, panels measure 2440 x 1220mm (8ft x 4ft) and are easy to cut down to any size. The aluminium face is ideal for the application of vinyl text & graphics or digital print.

TRAY SIGNS

Normally used on shop fronts, manufactured from the same aluminium composite as flat panel signs but with a ‘return’, usually about 50mm. This makes the panel resemble a tray or the lid of a shoe box. This three dimensional design not only looks more substantial than a simple flat panel, it also has the benefit of having no visible fixings on the main face of the sign. Larger tray signs are usually made from two panels which interlock.

FLAT CUT LETTERS

Individually cut letters or shapes can be any size and are made from several different materials, most popular being Perspex which is robust and comes in many colours.  The letters stand off the wall or sign panel, usually about 20mm and create a good three dimensional display.

WINDOW GRAPHICS

Cut vinyl or digital print can be applied to the interior of shop or office windows to make good use of otherwise blank areas. A popular choice is the etched glass effect vinyl, this gives a stylish finish and provides privacy while still letting in plenty of light.

PAVEMENT SIGNS

Intended to attract passing traffic, either on foot or driving, these signs stand outside your premises. They have a heavy base and differing designs that can either bend or twist with the wind to avoid blowing over. They are normally about 80cm high and your text and graphics can be applied to both sides.

Modern signage comes in a multitude of forms for a great range of uses. The most popular signs from The Sign Studio are listed below:
